January Transfer Rumours

Be interesting to see all the initiation videos of the new players today when they have to do their bit in front of the squad should take all of 2 minutes

Same here. His form has dipped massively since Xmas. We also have Ginnelly who is hopefully capable of trying more minutes now. We will find out on Sunday
Keep hearing posters say we have Ginnelly. Where the hell is he then, because i haven't seen him on the pitch much in the last couple of games.

He's just been off for a year with a major injury, it's going to be some time yet before we see him play a full match if ever imo

But why not use him for the last fifteen mins of Coventry? At least try and do something different.

TBH I think Ginelly must be poor, otherwise LW would be giving him minutes every game to get him upto speed. but hes giving him a total of 35 minutes since he's been back

Edit: actually 20 minutes, not 35!

Cullen should be benched for a bit as said above. Cooper is literally average league 1 standard at best. He's no longer a "young prospect" at 25 and has not done anything of note to warrant starting or arguably being in and around the team sheet. If he wasn't one of our own from the academy I would almost certainly guarantee you people would have turned on him already/be gunning to get him sold

Not even a 15 mins cameo at the end of Coventry where we were crying out for something different.
Exactly. It should be 10 mins this game, 15 the next and build it up. I know he's had a long injury and form may not be there yet, But you'd still have an idea from training what his ability levels are, which says to me, maybe not very high.

He has had a terrible injury and needs to be considered.
You could argue why he is on the bench in that case but due to the size of the squad then I fully understand.

I agree that long term Cooper isn't the answer but we do need a bit more bite in the team at the moment.

The one of our own comment, in my opinion, can easily be aimed at Cullen.

I still don't think he's up to championship level

He played 15 mins against Southampton, about 3.5 weeks ago and has since played 5 mins in three games. If he's that far from fitness that's he can't increase his pitch time, then he shouldn't be on the bench. If he was good enough now, he would be getting minutes. We shouldn't be looking at him as a player that's going to make a difference, at very least, for this season.

Has he even played an U21 match to gain fitness?

I'm sure he hasn't. Are they still allowed to feature over age players, a max of 3?
