• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Thank goodness we learned all our lessons and had planned meticulously for this window. We might have been in a spot of bother, else.

Good job we haven’t got anyone in charge of the football side of the club as I’d be absolutely fuming with him.

This stuff really isn’t easy when you know what you are doing, especially in January. When you have no idea what you’re doing but think you’re great, it’s nigh on impossible. I hope they don’t try and panic buy. We just need to suck it up, get rid of Coco the Clown (have I mentioned that?) and beat some dog teams that are even more canine than us.

We failed to get a young defender from Wycombe and a midfielder from Leyton Orient. Both out of contract in the summer.
We must be screwed financially.

Or they don’t want to join a struggling championship club that (in their eyes) is based in the arse end of nowhere, when they believe they will get something more palatable.

Up until selling Grimes I don’t think a lot happened on the pitch. We’ve struggled to create all season and we’ve been making defensive mistakes all season. That all came together for a few games.

Something’s happened behind the scenes though. I thought Williams’ links to WBA was a load of bollocks (why the hell would they want him?). But that seems to have been more disruptive that I’d have thought.

By “quite well” I mean we were solid. Still not creating a lot and still subject to fecking up at the back, but it was a platform we could build on by adding quality. Now it’s just a shitshow.

The struggling is possibly relevant, but the geography is neither here nor there.
