He signed for Wigan for 2.4M then signed for us for 800K because they were in a mess financially, scored 14 goals for us last season, surely 4-5M is his value?

I like Lowe and think he has potential. But far from kicking on and turning potential into reality he has been absolute cack for ages. If Martin doesn’t fancy him or wants to part exchange him, I doubt we’d notice he’s gone the way he’s been playing. To me he’s been playing like someone that doesn’t want to be here for a long time. Cant just keep blaming confidence when you are consistently awful, although I wouldn’t fancy playing upfront for us if I were Jairzinho.

We need to find better though and that’s when I start to feel a bit queasy.

I think to suit Russy’s style you need a good touch and be able to pass… neither of these things Lowe can do.

Don’t get me wrong… in the right set up… running the channels etc Lowe could be a good player… but the job our strikers are tasked with is not that.

It's a fair point but I've been positive until today. If Lowe doesn't fit in, Piroe seemingly at the beginning until he became the only saviour didn't fit in and neither does Whittaker or Kyle Joseph, but Grimes does, what's the answer?

Tbf I've just looked on the Blackburn forum and doesn't seem Lowe has a great reputation and I'm unsure why. It ties in with what you say, but since he's come into the Football League his record is strong. But he's being treated like the next Dele Adebola or Shefki Kuqi.

God that miss was bloody awful
