Luke Throws Coleman Under The Bus?

We have a member of staff coming in to be football director and that's really going to help us a huge amount because I think the structure maybe wasn't right and some people maybe didn't have a lot of experience in signing players and getting deals done.
Refers directly to the people brought in by Andy Coleman who had no previous experience of working in football or running a recruitment department, never mind any experience of signing players.

Oh and of course the football director is Luke's mate from Notts County.

Smell a rat? Place is full of them.

It shouldn't be, but it's shocking that yet again we weren't prepared and need to learn lessons. Terrible way to run a club.

How many times do we hear we should have been prepared even though we have Coleman & Williams telling us months before we are ready for the windows, pathetic nonsense.

From day one, I wouldn't say Rats but just no idea.

The vast majority have seen it from the start.

Digs galore in the interview

"I have more experience bar Marge than anyone else in the club of the EFL"

What on earth is this gopher on about
And saying he don’t see Liverpool or Man City shirts everywhere, that’s all I see around Swansea, that’s why he lives in Newport ffs 🤣

That Clark deal falls in the same category as the Otto non WP deal.....the club should have done it's work on these things well in advance.

There was no defending this last window and really Williams had nowhere to go, I think Coleman should have done the face to face with the media and shown some balls.
Sounds like they did try and work on a permanent deal after it, which would have been madness considering he cost Salzburg 12M.

Win some games you coot, then you can mouth off. Bloke is a complete muppet.
I thought the same as well.

It's not as if we're twenty points clear at the top of the league and playing like Liverpool.

"And of course, I'm the head coach, so I have an opinion on things. And when I look around the building, I would say, other than Marge, I've got more experience in first team EFL football
than everybody else put together, pretty much.
So I've got some ideas but of course, it's not for me to dictate
every single thing that we're doing and nor should it be.
But I've got an opinion and I think, I can see things are going to improve because sometimes people need to see things themselves to believe them and to suffer.
And I think a lot of people are suffering now in the club. And so that will bring about an improvement."

"I think that he (Andy Coleman) was a bit shocked.
I think he was a bit shocked that things weren't prepared and organised to the level that he expected them to be.
And then he went into overdrive, like a madman, to try and get things done. And that's not (a criticism), I was grateful to see it, but that's not the way it should be done.
I mean, it shouldn't be like panic stations for 48 hours,
just madness, just trying to get things done that should have been prepared for months in advance.
And what he said to me is that he feels partly responsible"
