Beat Sheffield and the mood will change for a week or so. A few big losses and all mid table managera need to be worried There is still a lot to play for. Another shambles of a transfer window and we might well be looking down. With any luck the players will turn up next game and we will nab a couple of new players to inject more pace.
That's a big ask though.

On reflection it's probably time to take stock of why being pragmatic with Duff was a disaster, and even reflect if it was at all even tough it felt that way at the time. Look at him now at Hudds for instance.

Is "the Swansea Way" a massive noose around our collective necks given that those in power and influence seem to have no idea what that actually is? I'm sure we've all got our own take on it but sure as hell it's not what has been served up by Williams & Rusty.

Are there players with too much pull in the dressing room that are holding us back (I'm looking at you Matthew), and how do we address that?

It needs a root and branch clear out and change but I doubt those in charge have the balls for that or unfortunately, a significant number of our fans have either. Until that happens though, the mismanaged decline of the last 10 years or so will continue.

I haven't renewed my season ticket and for the first time in as long as I can recall, I am having serious doubts as to whether I will. I'm sure I'm not alone.
Absolute primary school level trash talk. There’s none so BLIND as those who will not see

Why on earth some on here still choose to not see that we already have a proven winning blueprint is comedy gold and speaks volumes.

QPR was the exemplar, in loads of ways and most importantly it shows that we are far better off without Williams and his CV-embellishing bonkers self-indulgence.

Our proven winning blueprint is a thing of beauty (again):
- tight neat progressive triangles up and down the pitch,
- sharp wall passes,
- clever first touch 'round the corner passes,
- expansive wide play,
- hunting in eager packs
- aggressive press (up top and at the back)
- clever combo of long and short play

Entertaining, effective, efficient winning footy.

Get with the program, folks.

Eyes wide open please…….

In defence of NeathJack, he also wants Williams out.

The last proven winning blueprint we had down here was when Steve Cooper was manager. He left in July 2021.

We sure as hell haven't had anything of the sort since, so you cannot possibly be referring to anything we've currently got in house.

So I conclude that you, Sir, are talking absolute cast iron bollocks.

yeah I get that Coops - but there are far too many missing the point right now - and taking the usual swipe at our Club (Daps the prime trolling example)

The solution is staring us in the face, the blueprint is established and we have a decent quorum of management team that helped deliver it - Williams excluded, obvs

The other NJ had the audacity to question Sir Matty Grimes, hence the nonsensical tirade which you replied to.

I think Grimes does have a place at the club, but it’s not as Captain and it’s definitely not in the pathetic position which he’s currently stinking up.

We all want more QPR. What a lot of folk struggle to believe is that it was the result of a mini dressing room overthrow, and if that 45 mins of ‘total football’ was down to doing something different, how come someone at the club hasn’t joined up the dots and relived Williams from his duties?

He should be first name on the team sheet. However someone is dictating his playing tactics in a way that means we don’t get the best out of him or for the team.

We'd all like more QPR, but we also have to be realistic about what QPR actually meant.

In a season of total mediocrity, it was a rare good day against a side who is even poorer than us this season.

The idea floated by one particular poster that this one-off good day represents a "blueprint for success" is absolutely deranged. I'd love to try what he's smoking.

We don’t have any other examples of a performance like that coinciding with Williams stepping out of the pre match proceedings.

If he’s lost the dressing room then he’s on limited time here.

And that's the thing Coops.

He lost the dressing room yonks ago - much in the same way Martin did when he was at his lowest ebb on and off the pitch. There's a familiar pattern but thankfully this time there's sufficient groundswell of popular opinion that Williams will not get away with it like his mentor did.

A-NH - it's time you rid yourself of those Martin-Willy tinted squinty-eyed specs, and 'see' what's unfolding on and off the pitch - instead of tediously banging on about your usual irrelevant deflective nonsense with your bitter and twisted FB-shaped cap on.

Am waiting to hear any evidence at all that this guy brings more to the table than Russ/Duff. We fckd them off after realising they wernt the answer. Big argument to suggest Luke is way worse.
Why is he still here ?

Why didn't grimes galvanise the troops yesterday then? Chancer
