*Make up your own joke about Flight Captain Grimes taking the plane on a 3hr holding pattern over the airport to rack up more flight hours*

Why didn't grimes galvanise the troops yesterday then? Chancer
Anyone that's played the game to a proper level (esp in CM) will know that Grimesy is the very best we have in that pivotal space. He's also the very best we have at implementing (the manager's) strategy. And he does it with the highest levels of professionalism and commitment to the common cause. Week in, week out ad infinitum. The ultimate pro and any manager's dream of a Captain.

However for someone of Grimesy's dedication to the common cause to now be floundering as to how to can continue to support a manager who is completely out of his depth, speaks volumes of the dire straits we're under with this calamitous fraud of a manager at Martinesque levels of incompetence, unprofessionalism and selfish self-indulgence.

Grimesy did it for Martin - dug him out of a gargantuan stinking hole, on and off the pitch. Showed him the way for us to go on that run which saved Martin his job, his sanity and gave him the platform to leave us in the lurch at the very first opportunity (thank heck).

Grimesy cannot now do the same for Williams. We need our El Capitan to lead us away from Williams' losing rotten ways and back to our winning blueprint with proper support from the effective quorum management team (Marge, Sheez, Joey et al).

In Matty & Co we trust. As per.

What friggin level is that?

Ok but yesterday?
Try implementing a failed manager's failed strategy, where even the die-hard hard core fans were expecting failure with the failed manager at the helm - not even Grimesy could counter that. His frustrations were palpable for those that watched closely.

Every cloud, though.............😉

Looks like we are down to the wire and the hope that Ginelly will revitalise the team and results. Or one new signing.

We were close to Sheffield U which is a positive. The players need to settle and finish more of the chances. There were a couple of howlers in the first half v Norwich. One was saved and one went wide. In those moments we are looking shot on confidence.

5--1 down, and Willy decides to introduce an injury prone Ginnelly to chase the game with five minutes to go. Think about it.

Absolutely, the most clueless "boss" we have had since Cullis.

If only we had a competent Chairman aye.

The fact he's turned up in a few away games trying to get a feel for the fans opinions so he can guage some information.. he just needs to turn up when Coventry stroll in, it could be another under 10,000 crowd.. a meeting needs to be called if it doesn't involve sacking the useless tw*t.. our crowds are down, fan resentment at an all time high, players downing tools, no signings to cover CB predicament once Abbey went back, youths leaving us for other opportunities.. no DOF with football DNA being appointed
