Leave me alone, I'm not feeling very wellDon't be silly.

We lost that final because Brentford were far better than us and Cooper set us up to fail.Absolutely this, Jay seems to get blamed by a lot of ‘fans’ for us losing that final. A freak of an outcome to his challenge for the sending off.

. To argue he's not been crap in many of the games he's played or partially played over the last few years is just trying to reinvent history.
Some fans'maybe need to be more honest.
True. We were talking in the context of his new contract though. I think everyone is happy with that, but it would be no fun not to have an argument. That can be said about pretty much every player pre Matos, but Fulton is the one being singled out.

Or it's just being willing to acknowledge that Fulton unfairly carried a hell of a lot of the blame, perhaps even all of it, for what happened when he and Grimes were paired up, which was an all too frequent occurrence.
For whatever reason JF has been the red headed stepchild of the fanbase. A convenient target. The fact that every manager we've had in that time, eventually even the worst one, has used him regularly passes many people by. They're not picking him for a laff. They pick him because he's capable. Because he's one of the smarter players at the club.
I remember the howls of outrage at the Derby home game where he was straight into the starting lineup (with heavy involvement from Leon and Joey) and seemed to be the only player who immediately grasped what Matos was after.
I compared him to Naughton somewhere, might have been here, and that's a comparison I stand by. I see a lot of similarities between them. Both have been favoured whipping boys from some in the stands, yet have racked up hundreds of appearances for the club and been highly regarded by all the players and coaches they have been involved with during their time. Both superb professionals, fit and dedicated.
KN got his laurels in the end. Hopefully JF will too.
Indy reported the other day they are on reduced wages.Reduced wages? Who's saying that? Surely he will be on the same as his last contract? I know for a FACT that his previous contract was very reasonable for both Jay and the hierarchy. If he took a reduction on his extension he'd be better off going back up the road.
Instead, some outlets try to get a headline.
Now, here's a scoop, JF will be sticking around long after his extension runs it's course. #bookmarkaway

Swansea City : New boots and contracts, Vipotnik & Galbraith question ? - Swansea City News
Swansea City have announced that Jay Fulton and Andrew Fisher have been rewarded with new contracts taking them up to summer 2028. Great news for the players concerned and in Jay’s case a wonderful reward for his season to date.www.fansnetwork.co.uk
I wont lie, the last 3/4 games Jay played before the Matos revival, i was losing my patience with him even though i appreciated him.Or it's just being willing to acknowledge that Fulton unfairly carried a hell of a lot of the blame, perhaps even all of it, for what happened when he and Grimes were paired up, which was an all too frequent occurrence.
