• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

If they do the tv deals for the Premier League would plummet... as would the trickle down to lower league clubs.

It would do lots of EFL clubs out of business.

No, they’d have to live within their means. About time.

How much trickle down is there from the Premier League to lower leagues? Genuine question- I read somewhere that it’s peanuts- parachute payments aside.

Fans need to step up, Americans wanting to make money , it will ruin football

Fans my arse they’ll all be subscribing to it as soon as it’s up and running.

This fan won't, I don't have sky, they can all go fuck themselves the greedy bastards.

Agree with Neville here.... Fine them, deduct points, I would even go as far as to relegate them.

This is terrible and down to sheer greed, needs to be sorted and the strictest punishment put in place.

Should call it the World Series League.

Not too happy with Gary Neville sitting on the fence. Say what you mean, man.

I winder if this is a move to get more money/power in the existing system with a threat to pull out if they don't get it.

I would ban them from playing in their own country and not allowed any games to be played in the country, hopefully other countries would follow suit.

Let the clubs fook off and invite the clubs to be formed again and enter somewhere in the league pyramid.

No word from Legoland? As a giant of a club where is their invite?

Yep we are in, capital city and all that.....

😂 They’ll be thinking ‘great, saves us the compo from sacking the barmy kraut’

While inevitable it is also the death knell of professional football in 4 / 5 leagues in England.
Money will follow the top sides with far less for the others to share.
If the PL wages war on the teams that leave the leaving clubs will remain the English teams in the Super League forever.

Let them go, this will be a disaster

6 English, 3 Spanish, 3 Italian

No German or French clubs

Whats the point of a super league without those teams?

Once it starts the others will follow.

Celtic and Rangers will be a shoe in because of world wide fan base.
