• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Can you hear the labour champagne corks popping. They can have a pile-on no matter which of these two scramble home. Better still, they'll spend 6 weeks slagging off each other one way or another as they are two nasty self obsessed jerks.

Both are dreadful unscripted (Truss is dreadful scripted...cheese anyone?).

Well if PMQs today is anything to go by, the attacks on each other already made are more than enough ammunition for Sir Keir to make PMQs incredibly uncomfortable. With Big Chief Sh*t*ing Bull gone, there is no one going to be able to covey the lies as well, Funnily enough Badenoch perhaps could and perhaps her time will come. This is the worst government of my adult life. I may have despised Thatcher, but these clowns are beyond parody.

Conservative members to decide who'll be the next PM.

Put your house on Liz Truss.

It's as clear as black and white.

Yes, me too, and my first government that I remember was as a child Wilson's white heat of technology government. I thought he was a bit bent. I'd have him back in an instant now, or even Ted 'four days in bed' Heath.

There's an added factor here too, especially if it's Sunak but probably either. Big Dog won't bear his successor having any praise so he'll also be chucking rocks. He still thinks 'He'll be Back". It's just about how much damage they can do while they limp on to the country and the poor buggers that suffer in real life from all the incompetent nastiness.

Meant to quote - that's a reply to Prof.

Sunak v Truss it is. Lovely. Truss will win. Which will be both hilarious and disastrous given how rubbish she is at absolutely everything.

I’m beginning to think Truss as PM will be genuinely hilarious.

She will be so bad it could spell the end of them for a generation. And if we can get a coalition to bring in PR, it could be the end of them for ever in their current manifestation, as I refuse to believe there will ever be a majority for extreme right wing politics. Or extreme left for that matter.

She may even screw up so badly we will need to rejoin the single market and customs Union.

Heath? Thatcher would be better than Truss. Dreadful though she was she did actually have a brain and was, bizarrely, not as right wing as Truss.

They'll probably have another leadership fight before the next election.

And she believed in the EU. The Brexit Bunch are all too stupid to realise that.

She has the backing of the ERG and Murdoch likes her too, She will last months i reckon and we will be back to square one, if she hasn't started WW3 by then.

The current labour mob are dead against PR.

It could be the price of coalition if the Lib Dems take seats in the SE and SW. Longer term it would give us moderation of Scandinavia, Netherlands and Germany.

I agree with Lisa, a 'true socialist' agenda in unsellable in large swathes of England, but another term of these tinpot fascists will finish the country.

Thatcher was barely right wing at all by modern standards.

No, Murdoch’s choice was Badenoch. Hence Gove supporting her. Truss is being pushed by Dacre at the Mail.
I’m not sure they will be able to do another one without an election. I

Rumour has it it will be the price. And that will be fantastic. The type of modern social democracy seen in Scandinavia et al would be perfect.

They may have little choice unless they want to open the door to another ultra right wing government. And they too will be finished if they do that.
