Just saw that.

I know he was good for Celtic and surprised on a free. I like this

From what Im seeing and hearing this is almost a done deal, 3 years with an option for an extra year

This is left field. He’s a player with a decent pedigree, but he’s not done a great deal for a while and from what I can see played less than 2 hours football between February and the end of the season. Let’s hope Martin and the club can get a tune out of him.

Villas-Boas the Marseille manager wasn’t happy about the signing and Marseille’s transfer policy in general offered his resignation, was then suspended for publicly criticising the board and sacked. Can’t have done Ntcham’s confidence much good!

Sorry for my ignorance, but who?

Free agent but the above posts seem to think he's a quality player, based on?

Based on watching him numerous times for Celtic. Decent record there and brought up at city with good pedigree.

Not sure why being a free transfer disregards you as a decent player.

Understand he’s a bit of a maverick who’s lost his way, so going back to signing those kind of players a la Rodgers.

As good as grimes and if not better.

Hold on folks, and I hope this one is as good as we think, but we all thought Sanches was a brilliant signing!

I'll wait till he's got his boots on I think

It happens now and again, certain players just don't hit it off regardless of fee paid for them.

Ntcham is 100% the type of player we need in the middle so if he does hit it off here then getting him for free will be the cherry on the top.

If he can fulfil his potential he could be a great signing, he was perceived by some Celtic fans as being lazy and he’s gone from being a £17m rated player to a free transfer.
