Neither Adams or Armstrong are in RM's plans according to local saints fans.

If they're not in anyone else's plans either he may have to rethink that, as he did with Fulton here.

They have funds to do what they need to do.. They will pull in £100M in transfers out unlike our limited options.

Not good news!!! It’s fantastic news if he stays, honestly some of you need to take a good look at yourselves.

What's your plan for keeping the club finances in the black if Piroe isn't sold then?

Remind me again, how many players have we sold over the last few years ? are we currently in the black?
Of course the situation could be worse if we hadn’t sold those players but you can’t rely on constantly funding the club through player sales.
If I was Piroe I’d do exactly the same thing, run my contract down and then negotiate one big payday.

The other option is to slash outgoings and fees paid, but no doubt if that happened those demanding that we take the gamble and keep Piroe would be whinging about that too.

I have a feeling he’ll end up in Southampton. They seem to be desperate for a striker and we all know about Russ’s scouting skills.

No, from what I can see the club is most certainly not in the black. The below is a lift off the club web site, based on my maths this is a loss of £14.9m over the last 3 seasons, somewhere the books have to be balanced.

“Swansea City has reported a pre-tax loss of £13m for the financial year ending July 31, 2022 in its latest set of accounts. This follows a loss of £4.6m from the previous year (July 31, 2021) and a profit of £2.7m from the financial year ending July 31, 2020.”

We run at a loss every season, despite healthy player sales. I'm no accountant, but I would think the loss will be bigger this season if we don't have a big departure.

I'm not hearing your alternative to relying on player sales to keep the club afloat financially?

I agree on Piroe, I'd probably do the same as him also. Haven't seen anyone suggest otherwise to be fair?

According to Tutto Mercato, due to sign a new contract. Personally didn’t see that coming!

Edit - Just saw now, surely not?

After a year of not going to sign a contract.
Suddenly he is?
Can't see that happening it's a ruse surely.

I’ve heard there has been talks. Obvious wage increase for Piroe and the guarantee of a release clause put into his contract

Top scorer being your top earner is not unusual, as long as the wage is sustainable then I would be delighted with this.
Minimum release clause would also protect our interests.
