Came across as a daft bigot to me. He also used to lose his shit when you “down voted” one of his posts.

Similar to that other yank who people were fawning over when he came to visit and also used to post on here.

Well, I met him in the pub for a ten minute chat, so I don't know what his world view was. He seemed pleasant and polite to me. Never used to read his posts in depth though, all those statistics could put a glass eye to sleep!

Dav was quite conservative and old fashioned, but in the old days before everything was politicised it didn’t matter, we all used to rub along okay besides the odd spat about nothing. Then everyone got older and became more conservative and bitter as a result, and the rot set in.
