• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What a total fckn nonsense. Covid the 24th highest killer in the uk, suicides on the up, people losing livelihoods left right n centre, severe mental health issues as a result....and they think lockdown is a good idea?
I've had a fckn titfull.

He’s talking about a so called ‘circuit breaker’ but every school in Wales is going to remain open.

Does that make sense to anyone?
Anyone?

I reckon he claims out of that suit every night and leaves it standing up in a corner of the bedroom, and climbs into bed in his shirt and tie, pants and socks, and then in the morning climbs back into the suit and off he goes again.

No, it doesn’t make a lot of sense, they will probably utilise the half term break, or even extend it for a week or two, in any lockdown measures.

What do people want the Welsh Government to do? It appears that some want them to do nothing and allow the virus to run rampant through the population. As Drakeford has said, ‘ Doing nothing is not an option’.

Let's do nothing, and let the hospitals (regular and field) become totally overrun, so we leave Covid sufferers die, vehicle crash victims die, those who fall from height die, heart attack victims die etc etc etc.

There isn't an easy solution to this, no matter what.

Nobody’s said to do nothing have they?
I personally think there should be more being done. I’ve already mentioned tomorrow’s game in another thread and I find it difficult to comprehend that around fifty people will arrive in Swansea tomorrow whether it’s for work or if they’ve been tested.
Like I said I believe more should be done.

The average age of people who die from Covid is 82 and from other deceases 81, and now deaths from other illness are going through the roof and are higher and escalating far more than Covid deaths.

Where are you going to put everyone who needs critical care?

Google how many beds we have in South Wales, and check out how many are currently full.

Taking into account we haven't even got to the traditional flu and infection season yet.

My grandparents are both over 90, I take zero comfort in your average age stat.

No one's saying do nothing, but there is a world outside of this current sh!t storm.
What folk are concerned with, is that when the fog of this all consuming virus has lifted, there'll be fvck all left.
