To be fair, plus going by the swans Twitter ‘highlights’ from tonight’s game, it’s all starting to feel a bit desperate. Anyone know what Steve Cooper’s up to these days?

Think they were just doing an odds update, he's 7/4 now so widening.

Got nothing else interesting to talk about on the manager search but his post match interview for MK Dons his body language looked all of the place to me

RUSSELL MARTIN has been offered the Swansea City Head Coach job and turned it down at this stage, TGG understands.

The Swans are looking for a replacement for Steve Cooper, who left by mutual consent at the start of the month, and had identified the MK Dons boss as their number one choice.

The 35-year-old has won acclaim for his approach during 20 months in charge of the League One side, both in terms of their style of play and his leadership style. Last season the team ranked third in Europe for their possession stats, behind only Barcelona and Manchester City.

So potentially turned down by Martin after being offered the job which suggests that talks were held and then he decided against it.

Hmm...

What a big mess this is
I really dont understand why we kept Cooper on for 2 more weeks and didnt look for a new manager in that time
We went with our last top 3 in Eustace so didnt even have a look at anyone new
And then the club got my hopes up at going after who I feel is the best fit manager we'd ever have since Laudrup
Having an assistant manager and a league 1 club manager potentially turn us down shows that we're not making strides to get the actual appointments we want

We are still trying even though he rejected us first time.

Desperate.
