• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

First game I have seen in full this season and one thing that sticks out to me is every new player on show has improved the 1st team and this is bringing out the quality in some of the existing players most notably Viptonik and Ronald.

This could well be a very good season.

NB. The only position that worries me is RB as Key just isn't good enough

Ignore the result (which is obviously amazing) the most important thing tonight is that we gave a good account of ourselves tonight against a side with a handful of £40m+ footballers.

Those talking about a Forest reserve side obviously haven’t been watching much of the PL over the last few years. These days the likes of Forest, Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford etc have 20-25 players at a similar level costing tens of millions of pounds. It’s changed dramatically since we were there.

Positives:
Galbraith has some lovely touches and you can see he’s a class player. Strange he ended up at Leyton Orient.

I’d have no issues with Casey or Samuels-Smith having to step into the first XI for a run of games.

We’ve got 4 genuine options out wide.

Vipotnik’s goal means his confidence will remain sky high (good to see Cullen get the assist as he’s had loads of stick recently)

Burgess is the leader on the pitch we’ve been crying out for since Ash.

Team spirit seems very good (easy when you’re winning mind), so credit to Sheehan and the staff for integrating the new players so quickly.

STID!

Said it before, VIP is not just a good goal scorer but a scorer of good goals.

Roll your eyes all you like Rhyds boy, you lot need to wise up slagging off players. Winston called it right.

We looked tired at the end. Road our luck, but same time played really well. We deserved that win. What an ending to a game
VP scoring brilliant goal and Burgess. What more can I say.. Just wow
