Tempted to let Parker have ago at right back and would play two in the middle with either a 4-4-2 or two in the middle a number ten in behind the striker.

I do wonder if some of our struggle are due to the gap between the centre of midfield and the striker.

I'm keen for Galbraith at right back, just to see how it balances the team. I really like the look of Yalcouye, and am Franco's biggest fan, so trust him to find form closer to last season soon.

I do wonder if we have a generally imbalanced midfield? Stamenic, Franco, and Galbraith are all, at a minimum, 'good' players for this division, but none of them are necessarily playmaking creatives, Stamenic especially. The 'ratty' midfielder is a really important asset, but maybe not three of them?

Personally think the players in the centre of the pitch are almost cancelling each other out. They seem to be doing the same job.

Either Franco/Stamenic in a holding role with Galbraith or Yalcouye pushing things forward.

Just looked at our record at Blackburn, surprised how bad we've been there overall - 2 wins, 5 draws and 17 defeats in the league, including losing on our first 11 visits!

I do agree, they're all good players individually, but I think we're missing someone who can do the Dobbie/Sigurdsson role and link up with the wingers and Vipotnik.

I think he will contribute over a 46 game season, but I would rather see Franco in the team over Yalcouye because he is our player. I have not been impressed by Malik yet and can see why he has been in and out.

Yalcouye has been excellent, far more impressive than Franco. But I would go with Franco for away games where they are likely to come at us.

There's clearly potential there and he offers something none of our other central midfielders do in that he's willing to run with the ball at opposition players. On the flip side he's physically slight and even though he'll probably improve the more he plays, we probably won't ever see the best of him, instead developing him for his parent club to benefit. That's always the way when loaning young players of course and it won't do our chances of getting the best young players here in the future any harm if Yalcouye follows in the footsteps of Gallagher, Guehi, Gibbs White...

I don’t understand this obsession that some people have about playing Galbraith at RB. I know he can play there, but that doesn’t mean he should. He’s probably been our best player this season, and the qualities he brings to the middle of the pitch will be diminished if he’s moved to RB.

I watched very little of Orient last year, but I did watch the playoffs and I have to say I wasn’t particularly impressed with Galbraith in those games (playing RB). His performances this season have been much more impressive than those 2 games (admittedly a small sample size).

Yes, in an emergency (injuries to Key and Parker) then maybe he would be an option, but let’s not forget that one of the sticks that LW was (rightly) hit with was his insistence on playing people out of position.
