Looking forward to this game. Decent ground, decent set of supporters who I’ve always found are happy to talk football with away fans. Much like Orient (and very unlike Millwall or Palace). They are only three points above us in the table as well - decent chance we can get something out of this game as long as Ronald leaves his reverse gear at home.

Going by train.Someone told me there’s a pub by Paddington station frequented by Swans fans.Anyone know it?

Looks like there is train engineering work going on with services to Charlton not running. Best check before travelling

Those going by train might be in for a treat - the scum are playing Peterborough away Saturday in the FA cup, also kicking off at 3....

The police haven't thought this one through

I'd always do Peterborough away as it's only 1 stop out of Kings X on LNER

If I was going from Swansea or Cardiff I'd definitely go via London rather than all that faffing around in the Midlands - buying a ticket online from GWR/Trainline etc takes you via the London route anyway,,

You're right someone has dropped a potentially massive bollock here...

I went to Peterborough in January 2000, just after the Millennium Celebrations and the World not ending. I was living in London at the time. I got the 10am train to Peterborough, in those days I thought Peterborough was more northern than it actually is. I was bemused when we pulled into Peterborough at 10.50am.

I was so much earlier then I expected to be there so I proceeded to have a look round the Cathedral and get some breakfast in a Wetherspoons. I wandered down to the ground, where the away pub was the away pub by day and a gay bar by night. My mate Dean had come up with his Dad from Swansea and he said to be ‘Tim, there are no Cubicles in the toilet?’ and I replied ‘might be because it is a gay bar?’ ‘He hadn’t any clue!’ He said ‘Fuck it I’m using the ladies!’

A way we were losing 2-0 at halftime, but we ended up winning 3-2 and it was nice to just have a 50 minute ride back to London with no stops. 🥳

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I'm more hopeful for a result on Wednesday than I am of us beating Charlton.

We have nothing going forward, and Charlton have shown all season that they're hard to breakdown, really niggly, and very well drilled. Plus, they're managed by the Goblin. They will be absolutely gagging to play us based on current form
