• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Solid first half without creating to much, Derby offered nothing, let’s hope we carry it on in the second half.

We're a proper football team. I think we'll struggle to keep matos come summer
I hope he gets some decent players. Imagine what he could do with the likes of Sinclair and Dyer on the wings. Sort those wings out and we could fly rather than mess up a lot of our good positions. He’s done wonders with the overall team play.

He's played as well as I've ever seen him since Matos joined
He is defeninatly improving under Matos and you can see he's trying to cross more and earlier, however his cross still needs some work.

The worst was when he hit Stamenic.

Eom looks much better now. A decent rw would get us in the playoffs this season. Need an upgrade in summer

We look vulnerable to a set piece or a long ball - and they have the perfect referee to assist.
However they look vulnerable to our press and transitions. With our bench and some Derby players getting tired and potentially losing shape and concentration- there is a chance of a win here.

Franco looking like the player that won those awards his first season.
Game will no doubt be played at a much more frantic tempo 2nd half if the Derby players can get Eustace's boot out of their arse. Not sure a more frantic game hurts us though as this walking pace football isn't getting us many shots on goal.

Why is he any better than Ronald? We've had one goal and 1 or 2 assists in 30 games from them both. Both are equally pwp

The ambition has to be to keep Matos and add a sprinkle of quality, stating the obvious.
We are very close to being a seriously good team, just lacking a ruthless edge (Eom, love him but he’s cost us a couple of goals with poor execution). Making this bunch of playoff contenders look like a pub team.
Could still lose but should be clear.

Nah Pegs, we'll munch them second half if we don't give them anything before half time.
I think their manager will (a) give them a right bollocking in the dressing room and (b) reorganise to make life more difficult for us. Their top scorer is itching to come off the bench too.

I know this is the kind of game we inevitably lose, and it may well happen, but I'm so happy watching this. They are like Brizzle, they are going nowhere fast with their garbage, but remember what we did at Gashton, let them roll all over us without a whimper. Night and Day. If we had reliable cutting edges I'd put money on us getting into the playoffs.

Anyway, sod the pessimism today, I'm painting by numbers, and I'm still sticking to a win 0-2.
