First time I’ve seen this. Cook used his experience/exaggerated/cheated - depending on your viewpoint - but you just can’t do what Yalcouye did and expect to get away with it.
Sensitive flower. Lizzie's a problem now, Jesus wept.Sorry, didn't mean to call you Lizzy as I honestly didn't think that it may upset you Lisa. I was brought up in llanelli and would call people David until they took offence and told me to call them Dai. I'm not sure if it's a similar? I fail to understand why you are offended by fairy or poof. I'm a bisexual guy, am not offended by those words and hopefully if people on this forum are lgbt then they could speak out for themselves. I really do feel that the swansea community is very open to everyone.
I agree we do need to be attacking, we need players to drive into space when appropriate. Its frustrating to see from the sidelines when it's clear there are chances there, I get it. It's weird, the second half tonight, we looked much better, when going for it albeit we didnt create much in the way of chances, if that makes sense. I think it's a confidence issue, or at worse it's how they are being coached, maybe Sheehan is lacking in confidence and playing it too safe. For now I'll stick with my opinion that well come good. I hope it's not going tits up behind the scenes. While it's not panic mode but how long before we see a glimpse of being a decent outfit. We don't see enough until it's forced on us to attack. Even then it's too little too late.
We have a few decent players but others don't seem to have the will to win. This added to us being very lightweight and pedestrian doesn't install confidence that things will change soon.
It must start with the coach to pick attacking minded set up
We seem more concerned about getting the ball into midfield from the back than creating chances around the box. And even if we get a chance, players are afraid to shoot so decide to hit the deck instead. Have a go!Does Sheehan need some extra support on his coaching staff?
Now for me I was disappointed in IdahSome positives from tonight -
Idah put himself about and had a few nice touches to hold the ball up, also good when pressuring the goalkeeper.
Widell looked creative when he came on, that volley wasn’t far off either, maybe time to see what he’s about?
Didn’t give up when down to 10.
Unfortunately not much beyond that, but this team can be useful when it wants to be. Not all doom and gloom but not looking good if we lose against Norwich.
I totally agree with you LisaTried a bit in the second half. But they had two glorious chances even so.
All a bit rubbish really.
Not sure if it’s Sheehan, players or half and half.
Don’t thin’ it can stay like this for much longer though, there is no progression.
The ball needs to move forward a lot quicker than it currently is. We did that towards the end of last season and it served us well.We seem more concerned about getting the ball into midfield from the back than creating chances around the box. And even if we get a chance, players are afraid to shoot so decide to hit the deck instead. Have a go!
I agree. The second half showed every single player putting in a shift. We have learnt that Galbraith has to be in a position where he can dictate and Stamenic got through a huge amount of defensive work. For all the negativity about Idah, I though he played well in a difficult game, making intelligent runs holding the ball up and linking up well. QPR were the better side in the first half even before the stupid red card but we put up a fight and nearly grabbed a point. The crowd could sense it as well.I do not see this at all. Southampton was awful but they are still trying. He is not a good attacking coach and we do not have enough good attacking players either. The players are still clearly trying for him.
Confidence will probably be quickly being lost all around though.
Really Daz? Do you honestly see any week to week improvement in our play? Is that players or managerWell I thought we deserved a point anyway.
Yep. We are just ponderous. The ball needs to move forward a lot quicker than it currently is. We did that towards the end of last season and it served us well.
