• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

That was a strange game, but worth the trip. Poor conditions and very scrappy, but I enjoyed it. We were out of sorts and knew it, but you could feel and see us just digging in and thinking, ok, we'll dog it out then. The goal came at the right time and the lucky bounce was what the effort level deserved. The result was what really mattered. Huge. Great stuff.

Could easily be relegated with 50 points this season. Pompey winning.
Not sure about that. WBA on 34 from 33 games unlikely to get to 50 with 13 games left, Leicester too, even accounting for their points deduction.

How the hell are brum in the playoffs? Horrendous side

Two points between 6th and 13th, as it stands, is crazy with only 13 games left.

Based on their squad depth I’d still edge towards Southampton getting the last spot. Be good if Hull/Millwall had a collapse too!

Look at the crap above us, Brum, Derby, Gogs.. we'd be in there comfortably now if we got rid of Sheehan five games earlier.

Good signs for next season

Definitely an opportunity missed this year with the league being so tight, but I’d imagine 10+ sides will be saying exactly the same thing at the end of the season.

Whoever doesn't go up automatically out of Coventry, Boro and Ipswich will be hot favourite for the playoffs.
The other side of that coin is that whoever comes third will be very disappointed.

A hard faught battling performance that, not a great watch but who cares at this point in the season.
I thought we missed Stamenic today though

Would love us to make play-offs but the league is the most competitive it’s been for a long time imo. Not sure we’re quite ready for it anyway. Need to give Matos what he needs in the summer and get recruitment right to really have a go next season.
