• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It is insane that since Matos came in we have had a sustained points per game of 1.8 or so but still haven't been able to break into the top half of the table despite being 3 points off the top 6 before the 3pm games kicked off.
Yeah it’s maddening we’ve had excellent form since December and been stuck around 15th for so long. Or away results have been lacking though. If we could just get a few more points away we’d be right in the mix

Eom is the player who has kicked on the most since Matos arrived.
Based on what? He's not scored or assisted anything (calling today's header an assist is a bit of a stretch). Please watch him when the opposition has the ball, he's chases shadows, loses whoever he supposed to be marking and when he can make a tackle, rarely is it completed

Would love some more end product of course, but Eom always looks the closest to providing something. A pass into the box between two defenders to find Yalcouye was a thing of beauty.

None of our wide players have been brilliant, but Eom and Inoussa (to a lesser degree) have shown the most capacity to improve for me. We've seen enough of Ronald to know exactly what he gives you and while I don't think it's as bad as some make out, it's not great.
Yes, but remembering where we’ve come from with our wide players we have to give Matos and Eom the credit.

Based on what I have seen on the pitch in front of me.

Not a good watch today but they are an awkward team to play against. Probably one of the best I’ve seen in transition against us down here.

Vipotnik the difference today, quality chances were sparse for both sides but Zan showed up when it mattered.

Best win of the season for me, came through an ugly game and competed physically throughout. Would have liked us to have had a bit more control but could tell from minute one it wasn’t going to be that type of game. Class 3pts.
Outstanding today without the ball.

I think unless my math is wrong he has taken 28 points from 45 on offer since he took over
It shows just how bad our form had been before he took the job

We're in the bottom half of the table, but only the top 5 have won more games than us. Such a tight league.

Same culprits will be sticking the knife into Vipotnik if he goes two games without scoring. Give it a rest ffs.
Enjoy the win. That's what I say for today. Yes certain players can be picked out today, but we got the win. Let's enjoy it and moan later or tomorrow 😂

Out of 51. 45 if you ignore his first 2 games where he’d been there a day and 4 days total. Which is probably fair.

Have we drawn a game under Matos? Our form since he’s come in seems to be Win at Home & lose away (apart from Oxford & Watford). Must be a decent stat that
