• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Well done to Matos, we have a bit of breathing space now and maybe a little confidence. It was a classic game (neither was Oxford) but that does not matter, we won them both.

The manager now has another 90mins of film to study and review and is make slow and steady progress (long may it continue).

Now if you're reading this Victor a couple of things I saw that might be worth considering.

- Idah is poor, Vipotnik is great but he offers much more than Idah. Vipotnik cause much more problems than Idah and can strike the ball, whereas Idah !!!

- Cullen whilst he scored a great goal today was otherwise gash. Widdell looked much more promising and I would persist with him and hopefully the goals and assists will come.

- Stamenic is settling into his role now and I hope this continues and brings some solace for him during this difficult personal time for him.

- We need Galbraith back in midfield, but not with Key at RB, use Casey until January and get a new RB lined up for the second the window opens.

Onwards and upwards in the hope this isn't just a new manager bounce
I think idah is a better footballer than vipotnik

Brilliant few days for us and Matos. I’ll take that Oxford draw tonight too. Was hard work at times but another clean sheet and +3pts, great finish from Cullen.

Think we’ve beaten every team below us bar Charlton (and that could and should have been a win) that surely means we’re better than the bottom of this league.

Hope we can pick up a few points over the Christmas period.

Right now that’s not the case. But I do think Celtic wrecked confidence, and there is a good player there deep down. Hopefully he can find it.

I though Idah was poor tonight and Vip made a lot more happen when he came on, Yalcouye looked sharp and promising going forward and chased down well.

Probably just happy to get the three points and a clean sheet as a reward for actually making it to

To be fair, we've done that the previous two seasons so why not do it again for the hat trick.
Can’t possibly knock 6 pts, and 2 clean sheets, and they kept going to the end. The manager’s substitutions won us that game between 2 poor sides.
I couldn’t go, so had the Portsmouth commentary on, as can’t stand ours. One of their ex players said “Swansea pass pass pass at the back, then kick it long, not what I’m used to seeing from a Swansea side”
Hard to disagree with really, but work in progress 👍
