• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Barnsley's high line will be even higher now.... pace behind them Cullen/Whittaker for Routs soon.

Hourihane has pepped up since the goal and the team looked liked we've gone up a gear in tempo too

Brentford must be shi77ing themselves after that first half performance. Well done Matty class goal

Hourihane has played well, and been brave. It’s the least he could have done but he’s done it. A 25 yard cracker early in the second half and he’s back on the podium.

We’ve done so well to be where we are but by god we are an awful football team

Overly harsh IMO. We're certainly not great, but we've now played Barnsley perfectly for 135 minutes of this tie.

This is the kind of team that under Roberto and Brendan we'd stick to our pretty and patient passing game, only for them to stifle us and beat us with a set-piece or counter-attacking goal. Brentford found out the same a few months ago.

We're not going to turn into Swansealona or whatever again in the final (should disaster not strike in the next 45 minutes), but I'm confident we'll play better football.

Grimes will be getting the plaudits for his superb strike, but he's been excellent at the other end too - something he doesn't get enough credit for. And Guehi - how good is this lad? If he can keep developing, the sky's the limit for him.

Barnsley murdered Brentford playing like this. Cooperball might actually do the trick. I don’t care how we do it. DO IT.

A lot of parallels between that Grimes goal and THAT Leon Briton goal vs Forest, also as it happens in the playoffs

Looks painful for Wayne. Could be the last time we see him.
