Thought we may have seen Grimes back today if I was honest but happy with the lineup and Palmer deserves the start as he - as you suggested - adds some physicality to the midfield

Quite happy with that midfield. Based on the last game the only one who arguably deserved to be dropped can't really be replaced by Grimes so Palmer is the obvious choice.
