• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Good stuff. A tidy little watch this and both teams capable of winning it.

Need to get Grimes and particularly Patterson into the game more. There is so much space in the middle of the field between their defence and deep midfielder. Quick turnover or side to side and there are holes everywhere.

Will be amazed if we don't get caught by one of those balls over the top mind 😆

those deluded twats in the east think they can play this way with morrison and flint hahahahha

Only a couple of weeks ago loads of our own people thought we couldn't play this way with Bennett.

theyve never played this way and will struggle with it big time.

Excellent game of football this. Sometimes I wish we were capable of a little bit of shape mind. Next goal probably wins it and it could go either way. I’ll be honest I didn’t expect them to be as good as this. They are quick and inventive, a right handful. So are we, other than being slow and inventive. Going to be a great season to watch.

OK, got the match now!
It started just in time for me to see their goal. GRRR! Poor defending. Three blokes round the scorer, not one of them attacked the ball.
This playing out from the back is giving me kittens. We always look capable of giving away possession and a soft goal. Still, it's a million times better than Cooperball.

Cracking game of football.

Not that you'd know it from the Swans TV commentary. It's like they're commenting on a chess match. BBC Wales is much better but then they're ahead of the stream.
Watching on ifollow, Coventry commentators, but very enjoyable. They are enjoying the match despite being behind and giving fair commentary.

Yep Bennett defo has the look of a walking red card tonight

To be fair he's always like it! if he knows he hasn't got the pace he fouls.

I wasn't convinced Bennet would fit in to a ball playing backline, even moreso Cabango, but fair plair this manager is doing it - either getting it out of them or getting them playing above themselves. Even if we crash and burn RM has given us more moments in 15 games than Cooper gave us in two playoff seasons. This team is good enough to get promoted, probably best team in the Championship at this time. Well done Russ.

Good first half, would have been fantastic without that corner.
Would love it if we just hoofed it sometimes, if only to prevent my palpitations.

Cracking game for the neutrals mind.

First goal Coventry have scored from a corner this season according to their commentators.

Hamer has been busier than I would like him to have been. We are playing a very high line.

Christ that first half was played at a hundred miles an hour.
Ntcham and Laird are forming a better and better understanding as games go by.

Only because the players have ignored him, or changed his approach, or stats, or wibble.

"Like a Rocky film" is how the 1st half has been described by Andy Robinson.

Let's hope the 2nd half is not like "The Champ"

Same here. Cracking game, I just wish Grimes would hoof it sometimes when he's around our box when defending, a bit of a liability.

Obviously a mutiny. Players have been reading Dimi's posts and decided Copperbal was order of the day.
