• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I like the look of Burns.

He does look like a composed defender, great defensive and attacking option too at 6'5"

Its just pass pass pass after the 3rd or 4th pass theres no progression its rubbish and im convinced its not the way forward and this against one of the lesser sides

For all the good work that Cabango does when asked to be a conventional defender, every game he has a hospital pass in him and this time he sold Piroe right up the river and not only that but his little dribble had left him a good 30 yards out of position. Manning couldn't touch him or it was gonna be a red because of no cover.

Looked offside by two yards to me.

EDIT: maybe not, TV is saying he was level.

Yep onside.

We haven't been particularly bad but we can't lose this one.

Their keeper is a bit of a flapper

And we don’t want to cross it 😞

Just before they scored, Manning got the ball, plenty of players in the box and I expected him to put it in. Instead he stops, passes back and the result was them scoring.

Ive seen it several times this season its only our CB's are the ones willing to drive forward through the midfield and if they are caught out there is a massive hole at the back, the CB's doing the midfielders job.

The fault for that goal doesn't lie with Manning. Yes he could have crossed it rather than recycling possession, but the man at fault was Cabango. Dribbling up to just outside the box and then losing it with an awful pass while then miles out of position. Manning couldn't even take a tactical foul for the team because of no cover it would have been a nailed on red.

Where is the threat from Piroe?

This, he has been poor for weeks and offered almost nothing. Is a shame we have no real attackers on the bench.
