You are not on your own, I'm with you on this. Have a few mates that are Leeds fans, and saw a lot of their games over the years back in the 70s . Would much rather them go up than anyone else in the top 6, unfortunately not having a top goalkeeper could cost them again this season.

I can't stand the spiteful bastards.

Unlike them, we aren't the sort of club who wins leagues very often, and in 2008 we should have been lifting the L1 trophy in front of our own fans after one of the best seasons in our entire history. But those childish, spiteful fuckers put a points deduction appeal in that they were never going to win, just to stop us doing that. So we lifted it in front of one man and his dog at Brighton's old shit hole.

Never forgiven them for that, I think they're Grade A c***s. Always will.

I said I’d be on my own. And I don’t really disagree, as ER can definitely be a spiteful place. I still say we would have appealed too in their place if there was any chance of getting those points back. If we’d not conceded two stupid injury time goals to Muff it wouldn’t have been an issue.

Nah. The utter childishness they showed by refusing to allow us to be awarded the trophy because they were disputing their ten point deduction was enough to make me dislike them for ever.

I want them to go up because it’s best for us.

Even though if they’d had their points reinstated they still wouldn’t have caught up. Twats.

I don’t think Tymon would have been on my list!

At the time I had a feeling we’d miss it anyway. We’re a team that’s not really in the business of getting and scoring penalties; I’m surprised we remembered what to do when the ref pointed to the spot.

He has had his haters on here, but for a striker criminally starved of meaningful service and a consistent run in the side he has still picked up 6 goals in just under 1800 minutes for the club which is a rate of about 3 per 10 games (or roughly 14 goals over a whole season if he played the full 90 every game)

What? I wouldn’t want any of them anywhere near a pen. Maybe with the exception of a Darling blast down the middle as the 8th pen in a sudden death shootout.

At this rate he could be almost as useful as Craig Beattie.

I don’t want to rule him out (although I would if we take away sentiment), but we desperately need a new main striker for next season.
