Season 25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Oxford United | 12.30pm | 3rd May 2025 | The EFL Championship

Rarely we've had 2.5 k away fans here, and you'd think with that number, they'd be few security issues. But really hope there's a proper party with the 2 sets on Saturday. Will be a refreshing change.

I think Cooperman wants to feel and sense the ambience, the vibe, the aura of a match day, take in the salted air swirling around the stadium, with like minded simpletons who partake in the old pint or two, followed up by some sort of salted peanuts or pork scratchings, rounded off with some sort of edible delights in the evening.. in other words, proper west wales doesn't tickle his taste buds, I'm sure it does a decent pint and have ok grub, but a football day out is a spiritual awakening experience, where you can shout at the ref all game for being a Jonah and become a 12 year old kid again.. plus the suns out
That’s not bad for you, Skip.

There is nothing on the game and both sets of fans will be jubilant after last weekend. It’s got all the makings of a great day. Even the biggest plebs would have a hard job of causing issues.

No security issues. We’ve had more than that when we played Chelsea in the League Cup Semi, Arsenal, Spurs, Man City, etc in the FA Cup. The extra fans are in the North West corner which is part of the fenced compound. There will be segregation matting between the West Stand and the North West corner with stewards and some police.

It will be a party atmosphere. 👍🏼

Hope yer right. Cos it'll only take a few butes from either side to spoil a great day.

There is no jeopardy for anyone and we are not rivals...

Unless they have a mini bus of burbury clad youth looking for a story to write a book and be heroes in 2035 we should be fine.

Yeah ok mate, come back when you can answer 50 questions correctly without actually studying for a subject, there's levels, then me.. this is why I'm watched by security services.. in fact, someone contact the university and plonk the paper in front of him.. and let's see how coops goes.. I'd say he'll get 5 correct.. the difference with me though, I knew all 50 were correct.. I've also had an IQ test, and I'm a genius apparently.. these footballer suggestions are coming from an IQ of a genius, Salah, De Bruyne, Griezmann.. easy, what's your suggestions old superior one, who spends his time drinking alcoholic beverages as if it's going out of fashion.. let me guess, avoidance, doubt, and a sense of idiocy as he mutters a word

Now Cardiff are relegated, what's everybody looking out for on the final day?
First and foremost for Millwall to miss out on a playoff spot, so that their pathetic 7th place pitch invasion remains meaningless.
