• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Listening to Billy Sharpe post match, I completely concur with him.
Since their take over, their fans have got flights of ideas. I’ve seen comments on social media claiming they’re the biggest and best in Wales now. I thought those lot down east were bad, but Wrexham aren’t too far behind them.
Love their owners, and what they’ve done for the club and the community, but the fans need bringing down a peg or two.

Don't rule us out to get embroiled in a relegation scrap against them, we are that crap

The fact we've won 2 in 15 games tells us the play offs were a tad optimistic from the happy clappers and the don't mind if Russ gets us relegated and we should stick by him and his process brigade.. I would've sacked him ages ago, but these owners quite simply don't want to pay for anything, especially after the window we've just had

Our main 2 owners are just a complete pair of absolute utter cnts.....they hardly ever bother come to see us play, and will never invest into the club enough for us to get back in the PL....until they go, we can only go one way.....'next level' my arse Big Nose!

When he said "next level", he meant his bank account, Bryn.

Thought Wrexham looked decent last night well at least for the first 70 mins . Organised at the back and a threat on the break. Would give us a real tough game if we played them i think.

Not sure where you get your news from but the fans I know don't think like that. They certainly don't take anything for granted, been down there too long for that.

What did Sharp say? I heard about him having said something, but never heard what.

There's a whole lot of jealousy about because of Wrexham's famous owners and the increased media coverage that's come from that. People justify it because of a few random fans on social media who post silly things. As if the general fanbase of a team that's been in the doldrums so long would really think they're all that now.

Add that to teams not liking it when they're embarrassed by a team lower in the leagues than them (we have our own experience of this with Sheffield United) and you have the recipe for Sharp acting like a prick. Their player who scored the equaliser at the Racecourse 'shushing' a non-league crowd was also pretty funny for the inferiority complex it showed.

Spot on. Other clubs/players/fans are raging with jealousy because it's not them. How dare a non league club get more coverage than Sheff Utd. Billy Sharp made himself look a bit of a dick. Good luck to them. Pity it wasn't us.

My boss is a Chester/Man Utd fan. It's embarrassing the bias against Wrexham/Liverpool.
On the plus side, Wrexham softened them up for Saturday.

Listening to Billy Sharp post match just confirmed that he's still a bit of a d1ck
