• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Regardless of his quality, it's encouraging to see how quietly we've pulled our moves off so far. Eom was a slightly strange one, but Franco came out of absolutely nowhere, and Vigoroux only materialised as a solid rumour about 8 hours ago.
30 is a good age for a goalkeeper, as said previously in the thread its not unusual for goalkeepers to keep going into their 40s.

The news of Ginnelly maybe needing another op to clear up his ankle will not be welcome, would mean having to find a number 10 as well as a number 9 plus ideally one more central defender.

A lot on here talking about this new keeper being a back up for a hopefully returning CR, I'm reading the situation as he has come here to be our No. 1 and that the brass have all but given up on Rushy coming back.
He’s actually come here to be our new number 22.

Not sure you can be the L2 golden glove winner be in the best L2 league X1 and clean up all the Leyton Orient player and supporter awards if you have an attitude problem.. maybe he learnt some lessons in his younger days.. fingers crossed
Let’s hope he has matured and left the silly stuff behind.

Still a strange one though. If this is a Williams signing he will have no doubt had to justify why he wants to splash cash on someone who he deemed bad enough to fine for poor attitude.

Keith on Indy is suggesting there is a problem with Ginnelly. Being said that he may need another op on his ankle.
Saw Ginnelly in the fan zone on the last game of the season. He wasn’t walking like a player who was close to a return. Gutted for him if true.

Great read that, he doesn't shy away from being very immature when he was younger and a harsh lesson in reality when he went to Chile made him get his priorities in order.

Mind you paying a £50 fine with pennies still takes some balls regardless :ROFLMAO:

Kevin Hanratty been linked to come in on a free transfer, wouldn’t know if it’s for the first team or U21s.

Unless he had a year out injured, he's played 1 game since July last year, in the third tier of Scottish football.

Season before he played 16 games for forfar, scoring once.
Not one to get excited about, and tbh I pray he's just here to keep fit.

Very clickbaity title!

Don't think Rangers / Villa etc have been tempted to sign this guy anytime recently!

Marc Leonard off to Birmingham.
Had a feeling he may have ticked a few of our boxes, alas not.
Hopefully the vast amount of data we’ve inputted into our supercomputer will start squirting out some ones and zeroes soon.

Follow up on some of the U21 trialists, we know about James Graham and Kevin Hanratty.

We have also been looking at a Welsh youth defender called Theo Robinson, Wab Otjetrio(sp) a defender from West Brom and an American player called Alex(no idea on surname).

One or 2 others also been on trial but no names sorry

Wahab Ojetoro
Alex Calabro (not sure on this one)

With Pato still not signing up would you welcome him back if he decides there is no better offer out there for him ?
