Couldn’t find a collective thread so thought I’d get one going. I know we’re a few transfers in already.

One announced today that won’t get the headlines is a youngster from Man United, central midfielder Charlie Veevers. This is the only footage I could find from a quick search:

Bristol city midfield, just need Palmer back and we'll be as good as the mighty robins.

We seem to just be replacing like for like. Without wingers we are just going for the yawning 5-3-2 again

Jay Foulston, ex Newport County youngster whose been at Taunton is having a trial with us. I presume that may be a link with Byron Anthony

Completely meaningless fact....but these a banner of him on the wall up meadow view complex. Been there for years.

Guehi joining palace on a permanent. Poor move from Chelsea but good for the player, hope he plays

They've got one hell of a player - how much??

No doubt a buy back in there

Thomas Henry efforts still not dead apparently, but his club are playing hardball refusing a 6m euro bid from us

Not sure if it is the right move, he could easily have walked into a mid table PL team in my opinion.
It does however show that for the second season running we have taken a young player and turned them into a profitable sale for their parent clubs. That has to be a huge draw for any of the big six clubs and their youngers

£20m apparently. Probably an offer too good for Chelsea to refuse, but that is still one hell of a coup for Palace. I think if he went on loan to a PL side this year he'd be knocking on the door for Chelsea starts the season after.

Aren't Palace in the poop though regarding money?

Seem to have interest in inheriting our defence from last season if the rumours are true regarding Cabango aswell.

I always loved Vieira as a player, so I hope he does well at Palace, but can see it being a horror season to be honest.

So last weekend the following rumours were dissed by those that don't like opinion on a football website (or indeed doubt everything that was written)

Barry Bannan
James Garner

Both first reported on here. Just saying...

Indeed someone on Twitter claimed that neither could be true (nor could Thomas Henry or Freddie Woodman) until it was reported by say the BBC or Wales Online. Bannan was Sky Sports amongst others yesterday, Garner was a locally respected Manchester journalist before being picked up by others but all behind this place.

The Cooper story may still prove to be wrong but I think it's fair to say the sources are largely good ;)
