• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Yeah shame it wasn’t raised at the fans forum last week. It is an issue that doesn’t seem to be being taken seriously enough.

I’ve sent a complaint through today, if all those affected do so, hopefully they’ll take note.
I’m sending one on Monday. It could potentially be a real revenue generator for the club. Anthony the commentator is good and was always good with a co-commentator - yes I enjoyed Wyndham.
Never used to have any technical issues despite having a much slower internet connection three years ago.
As with the ticketing problems - get the bloody basics right!

I would encourage anyone pissed off with the club's provision to get a Firestick. If the club can't or won't provide a proper service, then look elsewhere to something that can. It's appalling, some of the stories on this thread. The new owners are getting a lot right but this is not one of them.

Clearly all our internet connections went down at the exact same times throughout the match. Mine buffered 6 times in the first 5 mins of the second half and didn’t get much better after that… despite everything else I’m streaming having absolutely no problems, being sat right next to the router and having 500Mbps 😂
Well if you wanted a laugh, another poster on here said its a ram issue 😂😂😂. And our PC's are outdated. Honest you couldn't make it up. It is not us it was them. I have emailed the club. I'll try my best to get answers.

I would but buffering issues with stick right? I know someone who has one and it's a fuss to get the right stream working.

Exactly the same. The app has not worked at all for streams since the end of last season - it’s up-to-date but is giving nothing. I’ve just sent another email to support - the last one was 3 weeks ago and despite an initial holding reply I’ve heard nothing since. Apparently the decision on refunds sits with the club but I’ve not been provided a contact person to allow me to follow up. That’s the most recent league games not streaming, the separate charge for non-existant pre-season friendlies plus the monthly charges over the summer when there were no games. Well over £100 charges since the end of last season for nothing
Mate, you need to raise this again with them. Do you get a email once you send them one. You need to reply again with the same message. Its super backwards but that might help. I have contacted the club and waiting for a response.

I submitted a question online in relation to Swans TV. Did it get read out. Umm no.

Not at all. If you get it off the right provider you won't have any problems.

Even better get diwn to the stadium and watch it properly......firesticks should only be for away games or fans in foreign parts
If you can afford the ticket prices and you're physically capable of getting down there then yes.....but if you're struggling financially and/or you're physically impaired (many are) then go get a stick.

This ain't a black or white issue

why have ticket prices risen?
the silly money that came into the game from Sky et al...driving up transfer fees

I get the physical impairment bit...and yes there aere many who canno afford tickets butbits a vicous circle....they are many who watch at home via sticks or streama who dont fall into those categories....tje xlub needs revenue ....the availabilty of "pirate" viewing is makimg things worse

I live abroad, renewed a season TV package after a year away. Yesatarday the stream kept buffering, so I emailed support about the lack of service since the pre season games. Their reply was just a list of generic links, which felt dismissive and didn’t address the problem. Who is charge of this operation? how can we escalate it?
