Not in the wild, but I think this might be similar. I took this in Cornwall.

Have been loving all these amazing pictures of exotic birds and that, but who of you out there are taking part in next weekend's RSPB Great British Garden Birdwatch?

I did it. Very disappointed!! I think the birds had a weekend off my garden. Just 1 greenfinch which was a highlight, 4 goldfinches a jackdaw and a woodpigeon.

Then monday morning, blackcaps, pied wagtail starlings, blue tits all came back!!

It was snowing quite hard for most of Sunday, so counts will be down, with most birds looking to seek some sort of cover. Results can be submitted up until mid Feb.

A peregrine Falcon having a pigeon lunch on St David’s Church clock tower in Neath yesterday.

Brilliant photographer Bob Pickett is he’s recently started up a superb photo sharing group on Facebook.

Even as recently as 3-4 years ago, Cattle Egrets were pretty rare visitors to the UK but in recent years they have become more numerous in the winter, especially around the Somerset Levels. Never expected to see one about 50 yards from my bedroom window though like I did this morning!
