Yes, it took off from a cliff ledge and landed some distance away from me. I was surprised how close I could get to it.

Why are my posts just showing the link to the photos and not the actual photo?

I had a similar problem using Post image, it was fine on the old site but not here. Another problem with doing it this way is if you post a picture and it shows the link and you’re still logged in to post image people may be able to see other photos you have in post image. Unless that was just a problem I had. 🙄

Easier to post a picture using the attachment feature now.
 
Had a nice surprise when I opened the curtains this morning and saw this in the field only about 10 metres the other side of our hedge. I always keep a decent point and shoot on the windowsill for just such an occurrence and sometimes it pays off.

Kin ell. All we get are sparrers, goldfinches, bloody starlings, Pidge & his Mrs and 2 collared doves. One of the collared doves can actually use the Peckish feeder and that’s quite a sight.
