• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Have been loving all these amazing pictures of exotic birds and that, but who of you out there are taking part in next weekend's RSPB Great British Garden Birdwatch?

Coincidence, that was the first thing I thought! Excellent stuff though.

Had a visitor to our garden on Saturday afternoon, problem was they were clearly too slow to evade the other visitor
My wife managed to take the first one from about 8 feet away. No way the Sparrowhawk was letting go

Trigger warning, raptor and prey

TRIGGER WARNING RAPTOR AND PREY

Had this visitor to the garden on Saturday. Pretty sure there's a pair in Morriston park, that's where all our birds come from. Was fascinating to watch while being distressing at the same time. Wanted to help the pigeon but the Sparrowhawk was not letting go. SO nature's way took it's course. Wife managed to get quite close for the first photo, rest were from the house.

Sparrowhawk caught a pigeon in the garden over the weekend. Pretty distressing while also being utterly fascinating to watch. WIfe managed to get a few photos from pretty close up.

Thanks

Your files are too big. I’ve just saved your photos off twitter and they won’t load.
As for the other links it looks like you’ve copied the wrong link off the hosting site to me,don’t use the first one use the second one.

A few delightful Long Tail Tits paid a visit this morning.

One of my favourites too, always welcome on our feeders and sometimes we get a gang of 8-10 of them, especially at this time of year. 👍
