• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Anyone had goldfinches yet this year? My mate in Stoke has been getting them in his garden for over a month but not a dickybird in mine despite me baiting the feeder with niger seeds.

Yeah, we've had a few here in Somerset. They don't migrate so they must be around hiding somewhere. I still haven't seen any swallows yet though which is a surprise.

Spent a few days in Spain last week and saw some interesting stuff.

One I'd never seen before, a Short-Toed Tree Creeper.

Has she only got one breast?

Went up to Gigrin Farm earlier on today in Rhyader. Bit of a trek but well worth it if you can get there. Got a few pics, they're not great but here they are...

Owl and red kites? Fantastic pictures 👍

Thank you, they're all kites, the white one is a rare white coloured red kite. Had a read online and it's thought to be only one of ten in the world.

One more, sorry. I spotted this Canada Goose protecting it's nest looking right at me...
