One of my favourite visitors to our feeders. They move around in gangs and we had about 8-10 of them on one fat ball feeder at the same time just a few days ago. A few minutes later, they all disappeared together.

Spent most of last week in Bulgaria including a whole day down on the Black Sea coast but most of the time spent up in their spectacular snow capped Balkans and other mist covered mountains. (For some reason, I couldn't get Brothers in Arms out of my head!). Just sorting through some photographs, quite a few birds of prey, mostly various buzzards but they have about half a dozen different types out there and not sure what any of them are yet  . So just picked these out of the birdy ones for now.
