So Glamorgan have concluded there was no chance of a result and so have decided to try and aim for some records instead, right?

As I type this, Northeast is 374 not out. Going by Wiki, that's the 4th highest runs in an innings ever in the County Championship. He's behind only Graeme Hick (405*), Archie MacLaren (424) and of course Lara's 501 not out.

Also Glamorgan have 730 in this innings with 5 wickets in hand, so the record of 887 from 1896 is definitely in play.

Let's hope I haven't put the mockers on them with this post.
