Well, we are just all going to have to agree to disagree.
He is versatile but it's no coincidence for me that we tried signing him after Grimes left and when he did sign, he then instantly started off in midfield.

I think he was signed thinking it was handy he could cover RB but never thought he would end up there due to default because Keys form went off a cliff.
Of course he can play in a couple of positions, but realistically if Key was having a good season then no way is Galbraith playing there . He was signed for us as a midfielder that could play at right back. The fact Key is having an atrocious season has made the club move Galbraith there, particularly as Ward is not yet up to full speed.

Totally agree.

The clubs official press release said we signed a midfielder (albeit a versatile one).

It doesn’t say the plan is to only play him in midfield though. He’s a multi positioned player that can be used in a load of different ways as every club he’s played for has done.

Then we should be linked to a load of RB’s and/or the best RB in the SPL should be getting a call back then?

I don’t think either happens.

That kills that discussion then 🤣
The only way the discussion is killed is if we bring in a RB or not.

If we do then you are right, he’s been playing there as a stop gap. If we don’t and also don’t call back Lissah then it’s clear he’s there for a reason.

Five pages on the transfer thread discussing a midfielder currently playing as a right back.

The owners weren't kidding when they said it was going to be a quiet window.

He’s not a midfielder playing as a right back. He’s played right back more than any other position for both us and his last club.

You've already mentioned that, repeatedly........

Doesn't matter how many times you say the same thing. It doesn't make it correct.

So he’s not a midfielder currently playing RB then.

He’s a duel positioned player playing in the position he plays in most.

It’s not about making me happy, I’m just saying… we clearly are not going after a RB.

There is a reason for that. Let me know if we get linked to one.
Have you thought about changing your username to Raymond Babbitt?

Who can remember Paul Madeley of the great Leeds United team .
What was his best position .
