• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

New poster, so please go easy. 😁Can I just say this, the owners/ recruitment team have done their bit, promises have been kept, its now our turn. Next game Hull at home, let's try and make it a sell out and show the newbies that they were right to choose us and make it loud and proud .
Welcome.

Spot on, fans need to show some commitments and get back down the stadium and show the same level of commitment as the owners have this summer.

Well that shouldn't be the case and it would be pretty naive if it were the case.

It's a complete new squad, a lot of young players and we need to realise they need to gel.

Not to say it might click quicker but a sense of understanding of the situation needs to be high on the list.
It’s not the case, Sheehan has already spoken about expectations and how this is a 2-3 year project. But I don’t know maybe the project means champions league football or something.

Lets hope it's not the case and Nottinghillbilly is talking shiite.

If you'd told me in February that we'd be in September in this sort of shape I'd have never believed it.

In my mind we've only been going in one direction pretty much since relegation however this window has totally changed the direction of travel.

I'd be delighted if we have a solid top 10 finish this season and build again next season.

Anyone remember how big the original window thread was before the bots ate it? Just wondering if we’re over 400 pages now with the 70 on this one.

I don’t think anyone would have believed it! I still don’t quite believe it now after the fact. It’s been such an amazing few months. And I’ve not been so excited for an upcoming season since we got promoted to the premier league.

But people have short memories and I’m worried there will be unrealistic expectations now. There will need to be a bit of patience this season and understanding if we’re not in the playoff spots.

We were well past 400 before it got eaten.
I think we are possibly close to 500 if not past it now
