I think only the people involved trying to bring in a guy know who they would like and will within budget try their best, along with the other areas that need some depth, and of course there is still the loan market with prem clubs now in a position to consider loaning people out ( Brewster from pool comes to mind from the past he improved us) so lets wait and see, but we could do with someone in before friday to be ok for saturday

Sounds like we may have lost out on the big signing, only positive is we’re aiming high I guess.

Think we have also hindered ourselves by capping the players age so we can possibly have a good resale.
If we are genuine for the here and now, we have to look at players a couple of years older at this stage.
