I think only the people involved trying to bring in a guy know who they would like and will within budget try their best, along with the other areas that need some depth, and of course there is still the loan market with prem clubs now in a position to consider loaning people out ( Brewster from pool comes to mind from the past he improved us) so lets wait and see, but we could do with someone in before friday to be ok for saturday

Sounds like we may have lost out on the big signing, only positive is we’re aiming high I guess.

Think we have also hindered ourselves by capping the players age so we can possibly have a good resale.
If we are genuine for the here and now, we have to look at players a couple of years older at this stage.

I wonder if our pursuit for a certain striker has led to this delay and dare I say it, it ends up being a Transfer Day rush. Yes the club will always have back up options but it's pretty crazy that we have left it to the end of the window, especially being the 1 position we need desperately. We are lucky that VP has at least shown signs to get us over the line. Cullen has been useless and Wales has not really featured. It will back fire on us if a striker, and the right one doesn't come in soon.
