• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Baz has just said Kamara done, so maybe it is

Word coming from Spain is that Getafe's move for Kamara is finally, finally, finally and finally concluded. Approved by the Spanish FA who cancelled their afternoon siesta to get it signed off. Everybody take a great sigh of relief, not least Abu, who gets to spend a season in Madrid.

Can’t have done a medical here then?

Apparently Ajax are now in for Dolberg, if he goes there it's anyone's guess regarding Idah.
If Ajax are interested they will beat Celtic to the signing.

Dolberg is a cult hero in Amsterdam, he was a fantastic player when he was there a few years ago. Well loved in the city.

I've got to say, it does feel like the recruitment team have been very thoughtful as to what we actually need rather than just getting players in positions required.

E.g

- we were desperate for another leader at cb whose left footed - burgess
- desperate for a battling number 6 with height and power - stamenic
- right winger who's left footed - likely kamara

Etc
And this time last year, our only likely significant saleable asset was Grimes.
The board have spent money on young players with high ceilings (and most are internationals). This, coupled with the fact that Sheehan seems to be getting a lot more out of the existing squad makes this a very exciting time.
Even the loans are looking very high quality. 💪

Lucky we didn't get Marc Guiu, recalled already by Chelsea because of the striker debacle there
