• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Hats off to Montague and the board and agent dimi they have done a spectacular job this summer rebuilding a broken squad
100%

Turning it around so quickly is very impressive. Obviously not all incomings will be a success but can’t fault the fact they’ve somehow balanced a squad (assuming these last 2 are confirmed) that’s been all over the shop for years.

Aye and at least with the squad now looking balanced in a mid to long term fashion we can spend each window actually focusing on just a couple of signings to replace outgoings

Avoiding relegation definitely isn’t the aim, but I doubt promotion push is either. It would be a bonus if we’re close or achieve it this season. But it’s already been spoken about that being a 2-3 season project.
I think you may be surprised at the ambition.

Certainly play offs should not be without question.

Hence the signings today.

They're going for the jugular for sure

Makes you think what they might do in Jan if we're up there

Heard benson might even be a perm deal

Be great if you're right and BBC are wrong:

Swansea are poised to complete the loan signing of Burnley winger Manuel Benson.

The 28-year-old has been at Turf Moor for the last three years but made just three league appearances for the Clarets as they won promotion to the Premier League last season.

The Angola international has scored 14 goals in 51 appearances for Burnley since joining from Royal Antwerp.

Benson will join striker Adam Idah in south Wales after he made a £6m move from Celtic earlier today.
