My quick assessment of this transfer window. Like many have said it has felt like a window that has been planned and we have actually got good cover for each position. The starting 11 is strong and the bench as well. I think I would have to go back to Premier league days when I could say that. Also next summer it won't mean such an overhaul. I can't see why we can't be knocking on top 6 at least this season.

I wonder who we were negotiating with on the left back? Strasbourg or Chelsea? Very funny business but the big clubs get away with it

I'm not sure about top 6 because of the amount of churn and the fact that a lot of other teams have strengthened too, but I'm encouraged enough to think we can be top 10 after the work we've done this summer.

Anything higher than that - bonus.

It's basically a meltdown, managed to get a player through the door at the eleventh hour, a winger. A club with 120 million pounds in the bank, with a board that has a biscuit tin mentality. Rogers will be walking away at the end of the season for sure. Embarrassing.
Just had a read on the Celtic board was gobsmacked to see Paul Tisdale is head of football operations! A failed league 2 manager is Brendan answerable to him

He's basically the patsy, been there under a year, didn't endear himself to the Celtic faithful when he called himself "The Football Doctor". He'll be out the door by this time next week.

Honestly got no sympathy for them the way the gloated about getting rid of Idah. Hope he’s chomping at the bit to make them look like mugs.

Celtic do seem in a particularly low ebb at the moment. Think that’s why we have to take Idah comments with a pinch of salt, they said the exact same things when Yang was linked with Birmingham. They’re seeing everything through a negative lens at the moment because the club is in a mess. Some players just won’t thrive against a low block every week and you certainly don’t see that against us. No surprise Idah has scored against Rangers and Villa, teams that will have a go.

Anyway, feel a bit for Celtic. We know what it’s like to have similar windows.

Adam Idah will get you goals; he'll miss quite a few too. He didn’t really get a decent run of games at Celtic Park with Kyogo and then Maeda as first picks up top. Don't expect too much too soon; he hasn't had many minutes on the grass so far this season, but once up and running, he'll be a menace.

Vital reporting that Swans are waiting to hear from the FA on whether or not the Benson deal was completed in time. Looks like all blame would be on Burnley if it falls through
