• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

We’ll just have to manage him properly but got a lot to offer.
A big dose of realism and patience is needed. He missed 211 days of last season with a nasty injury that can often see off careers. Given he was known for his pace, a knackered Achilles is particularly bad.

Let’s hope he can get up to speed, but it’s far from guaranteed (which is why he was sent here rather than be a risk for Burnley).

Yep, on the face of it it’s fantastic but there’s a big chance we don’t see him much. If all goes well, we could see him make a similar amount of appearances as he did for Burnley in their promotion season, think he played 30 odd times and started 10 or maybe 15.

We can go toe to toe with any team in the league in a one off game. Time to continue our home fortress and pick off teams on the road .

Wrexham fixture will be interesting to say the least

Absolutely fantastic end to our dealings this window. Not many variables I'd have changed, if any.

This is the most optimistic I've been about our prospects in many years, and this certainly feels like a new dawn for us. But I am a realist, and it could legitimately take these lads weeks to bed in, and start playing to Sheehan's tune. We need to give them a bit of grace over the next couple of months to get there, but I'm confident they will. This could well mean that we don't get the final table that we all want, but enjoyable football would be a huge coup for us this year.

That said, let's hope they all find their gear early, and who knows!

Squad Overhaul - Yes
17 players out
12 players in
Think the score is Swansea 12-12 Wrexham
Except they've spent a ton and lumped themselves with really high wages contracts and aged players with no value at end of their contracts

Also we carry over 12 players who have played in this league last season so we're are building on a stronger foundation.
