15m wasted in my opinion

Crazy. They fire a manager who gets them a European trophy in a season ravaged by injuries especially the defence and the summer he took over they sold Harry Kane on him.

With Ange they were 5th last year and cup winner this year. There's not much in their goals for & against stats.

With less injuries Ange may have got them back to 5th again and who knows may have won the Champions League

Instead they fire him. 5m payoff and 10m to buy out Frank. That's 15m to replace the manager. And the new manager has no European experience or managing a big club

We're not in an alternative universe where Spurs had fewer injuries and won the Champions League. We're in the real world where Spurs finished 17th and the best that you can say is that there's not much in their goals for & against stats. For a club of Tottenham's size and finances, there damn well should be.

Frank has no European experience and of managing a big club, so it's a brave decision but to me it looks like a good one. Ange is a genuinely nice guy and will easily walk into another club, but this could be an inspired appointment.

They fired a manager who, if you remove his first 10 games in charge, won 78 points in 66 games; that's borderline relegation form - in fact, they'd have gone down this season if any of the promoted teams were remotely capable. This season alone, they lost 22 games in the league. TWENTY TWO games.

I love the bloke on a personal level, but he's clearly not cut out to manage a team like Spurs. As much as they won the Europa League, let's not act as if they swashbuckled their way past Europe's elite on the way. They beat a decent Frankfurt, and that's it, then scraped past an even worse United side in the final thanks to a horrible own goal.

Frank deserves his chance given what he's done at Brentford. I do wonder if he's going to turn out to be an Alan Curbishley type success at one club only manager.

£15M is a drop in the ocean these days for clubs like Spurs. I note this morning that Liverpool has just spent £116M on a midfielder. £116M!

Considering the influence that a manager has on a club the amounts to sign them are tiny. It’s a bizarre sport that makes little sense most of the time.

It won’t be.

Nuno looked a good fit for them and look how that turned out.
He's now rebuilt his career at Forest.
Certain managers suit certain clubs.
Was Brentford Frank's club?
The only way Spurs can be any worse is if they go down.

I'm surprised that Nuno is still at Forest after that clown of an owner went onto the pitch and humiliated him, disgusting individual.

Didn't he appear on the pitch to talk to Nuno to express concern that their player was still on the pitch with a very obvious concussion that the medical staff and the people pitch side either missed or disregarded?

Yeah, I think you're right, but I think he was still out of order with his attitude, Nuno looked shocked and he had probably just gone off what the physio's had told him I expect, that said the physio might have been looking for another job after that.
At the end of the day he shouldn't have charged onto the pitch raging at Nuno, behind the scenes fair enough, but he humiliated Nuno in front of thousands of fans in my opinion.

It wasn't concussion - he'd suffered a ruptured intestine!!
