I don’t want to take any heat off Trump but I’d like to see more criticism of some of the individual protestors because let’s be honest some of those Ted Nugent sorts haven’t become that in just four years.

Have you not read that they were not Trump supporters but antifa and BLM under cover*.

What is also mad is that Kapernick was branded a traitor for kneeling at the start of a football game. Whilst people storming the seat of government to inhibit(stop) it's members executing the Constitutions mandated peaceful transition of power are labelled "protestors" :?

The more you read about the stuff that went on before this, with the police turning down back up from the National Guard and the FBI and the National Guard eventually being mobilised by Pence rather than Trump, together with the pictures that appear to show the police letting protestors through, the more it’s beginning to look as though this was something that is even worse than it initially appeared.

Reports suggest that to all intents and purposes Trump was, at least temporarily, removed from power last night with Pence and senior security and military taking over. Surely it can’t be possible that Trump was genuinely attempting a coup with the support of the police?

He’s quite obviously been told in no uncertain terms that he’ll be removed immediately unless he does this. And what will happen to the political ambitions of the rest of his crime ridden family. Although I suspect the actions of New York State may end those anyway.

Condemning the violent rioters who stormed the Capitol on Wednesday, acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen in a statement assured that those responsible for the attack would "face the full consequences of their actions under the law."

The protesters are liable to be punished with up to 10 years in prison for “injury of federal property," under the executive order signed by President Donald Trump during the Black Lives Matter anti-racism protests in July 2020.
