Cullen coming in for some justifiable stick. How dare he not win a ball in the air at 5ft 10 and be unable to hold the ball up surrounded by at least two big defenders. Dreadful.

We didn't play to his strengths at all... with predictable results.

I'm not saying he's a world beater but he's got goals in him. What he definitely isn't is whatever he was meant to be today.

VIP showed what holding the ball up and being strong does to the dynamics of the team today.
WWe started looking more threatening when he came on and allowed the wingers to get the ball whilst facing Watford goal.
We don't play a 10 but Cullen can certainly play that midfield 2 role as he has done for Wales.
Or maybe just not a striker in a system with two wide wingers and no number 10 to speak of?
The entire front 3 were dog poo today - Eom on the left wing is a waste of a shirt , Cullen leading the line is a joke and I’ve had it up to here with Ronald. Took Galbraith to show him how it’s done.
If we had started with the team that finished we’d have won.
A special mention to “Ante” Stamenic who made sure their best player who scored that worldie went off injured. A great debut.

Vip took his goal beautifully but barely touched the ball besides that. I don't remember one instance of him holding the ball up (not that Cullen did either).
Then your memory is lacking, I saw at least two well held balls and laid off to keep the attack going.

Ah Ronald, good to see that its another season where he spends as much time on his arse as he does taking on a defender.

Agree, but not a striker
So why oh why does the manager persist in picking him there.
Its not Cullens fault he is doing what he is being asked to do despite not having all the artributes for that role....then he gets us fans hacing a go. whilst the manager gets no criticism

His incompetence at being caught offside three times when we had attacking free kicks was glaring. Get rid

Absolutely fair and relevant points.

Striker & Winger for Ronald are musts for me going into the deadline, who’s that RW Snoop followed online for Salzburg?

The fact that we rely so much on Cullen just highlights how we have had an unresolved hole in our transfer policy for so long

Let's be honest - our transfer 'policy' has been dreadful for years. And that's biting us on the arse now.

This is the first window in a long time where it actually feels we've upgraded our squad
