… the player, one thing is for sure - he has never wanted out of Swansea City.

Look at the bigger picture. Since USA mkII plus Cravatt et al have stepped in the wheels have well and truly fallen off.

Don’t let the Matthew Gtimes story bury other bad news.

I just think he, along with Williams, are an integral part of the malaise at the club. It starts higher up though even if they do "care" (as discussed on another thread)

I think he causes more issues behind the scenes than we know tbh, I bet he was the instigator behind getting Duff out, and Duff had big balls when it came to saying what he thought was right, and he was bang out with promotion over a derby win 110%
There's no "I bet" about it. It was the worst kept secret in Swansea that him, and Joe Allen, weren't having Duff. And that was that. Player power won the day.

Oh I have to disagree on this one. Every window he has or be that his agent flirted with going. He has stayed yes, and could be seen as commited, but would of gone if a high fee would come in. Little loyalty in football. Nearly 30 years old, this might be the last chance we cash in.

100%. People correct me if wrong but I remember he was one of the most vocal to get Williams in. He's played the game well. Behind the scenes. Not so much on the pitch.

Maybe he has realised that he might not have the pull that he used too and fans are starting to get on his back a little bit more.

We're fucked, they are ripping the guts out of the club, P&S is just a convenient excuse fans shouldn't be failing for the nonsense.

Years he has flirted with going. But no club commited. He knows it's his last payday as he's nearly 30 and lampard in the mix it's the closest he will get to English national team. 🤣🤣

3 million is very small potatoes for a player who has been Captain for years.

Swansea City 🦢 v Millwall 🦁
